Opened and dedicated in
October, 1999, the 15,000-square-foot Frith Center's primary purpose is to
assist existing industries with their employee educational needs and to help
attract new industries to the area.
The facility offers
electronic classrooms, offices, a lecture hall, an exhibit hall, computer
labs, the Philpott Manufacturing Center and a small business incubator.

The J.
Burness Frith Economic Development Center at Patrick Henry
Community College was made possible by a donation from Kathryn N. Frith in
1997, in honor of her late husband and founder of Frith Construction
Company.
